Springfield Chapter NSDAR
Springfield, Illinois2009-2010 Chapter Meetings
Springfield Chapter, NSDAR, meets on the third Saturday in the months of September through May. We invite family members to join us in the month of June as we celebrate our annual patriotic picnic. We do not meet during the summer.
Our regular monthly meetings begin at 11:30 a.m. and are held at various venues throughout the city. We begin each meeting with an opening prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and recitation of the America’s Creed. The luncheon affords us the opportunity to visit with other Daughters in attendance as we enjoy our meal. Following a reading of the President General’s message, and the Defense Report, we hear from our guest speaker.
