  • to join with others who cherish our priceless heritage so that we can more effectively protect our American way of life, defend our democratic form of government, and promote the ideals of patriotism and love of country

  • to preserve the memory and tradition of our Revolutionary ancestors in a permanent genealogical record

  • to further the work of the NSDAR through its three objectives: historical preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor

DAR Membership Requirements

Do you have a Revolutionary Patriot in your family tree? Membership in DAR honors and preserves the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. Over two hundred years ago, American Patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society’s various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavors. Click this Eligibility link to see if you are eligible.

Our Chapter Registrar is prepared to provide advice and assistance in this endeavor, if needed. You may email membership questions to our Registrar Nancy Christensen.

We look forward to meeting with you!
