Why Join the DAR?
-
to participate in efforts to preserve
American heritage through education
-
to promote and assist in the
celebration of commemorative patriotic and historical events
-
to join with others who cherish our
priceless heritage so that we can more effectively protect our American way
of life, defend our democratic form of government, and promote the ideals of
patriotism and love of country
-
to preserve the memory and tradition
of our Revolutionary ancestors in a permanent genealogical record
-
to further the work of the NSDAR
through its three objectives: historical preservation, promotion of
education, and
patriotic endeavor
Do you have a Revolutionary Patriot in your family tree?
Membership in DAR honors and preserves the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. Over
two hundred years ago, American Patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms
we enjoy today. As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society’s
various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by actively
supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic
endeavors. Click this
