Ruth and Virginia, with some of the Desert Water Bags we sent to our Adopted Marine Marlon Martinez and his group serving in Afghanistan.  Marlon is Virginia's grandson.  We are also sending him boxes of specialty foods, snacks, puzzles, and personal items to share with his group.  We receive delightful thank you notes from him.

Quilts of Valor Project

We are making lap quilts for our wounded soldiers and veterans in support of the Quilts of Valor Project. We had lots of fun at our own quilting bee. The two quilts shown have been sent to Marines in Maryland and New York. Three more quilts will be finished very soon.
