Adopt a Soldier Project

We have "adopted" SSG David Barnes, brother of Rose and Sarah Barnes (in photo) and are sending him boxes of specialty foods, snacks, puzzles, and personal items to share with his team.  He is serving out of country and our boxes are sent to him monthly.  We receive delightful thank you notes from him by email.

Quilts of Valor Project

We are making lap quilts for our wounded soldiers and veterans in support of the Quilts of Valor Project. We had lots of fun at our own quilting bee. The two quilts shown have been sent to Marines in Maryland and New York. Three more quilts will be finished very soon.
