The Fort Laurens Chapter of the DAR welcomes you to our chapter website. We are always eager to explain to people what the DAR does and what it stands for, and are thrilled to find new members.

Our meetings are held the second Saturday of each month, September through June.  We have interesting programs with historic, educational, patriotic, and National Defense themes.

We stress flying of the Flag of the United States of America and encourage knowledge of the Flag Code. We observe Constitution Week and American History Month. We have placed memorial wreaths at Fort Laurens, and marked American Revolutionary War veterans' graves with markers in special ceremonies, among them the graves of John Baltzly, Jacob Crites, Isaac Boroway, John Knisely, and Abel Williams.  We also support DAR Schools.
