Twickenham Town Chapter marked the gravesite of Revolutionary Patriot Lewellen Jones. He was born circa 1735 and died after March 4, 1794.
His spouse's name was Catherine and he is buried on the campus of the University of Alabama, Huntsville, in a lovely
fenced section, adjacent to the administration building.
Pictured to the
left is local historian Jacque Reeves, who is a descendant
of Lewellen Jones and a chapter
member.
