Kate Duncan DAR School 2nd grade teacher Lisa Pittson
The chapter participates in the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School "Adopt a Classroom" project  and assists in teacher Lisa Pittson's 2nd grade class by providing one-on-one tutoring and Christmas presents, purchasing a moving book cart needed by the students, and providing other needs as they arise. Mrs. Pittson, pictured to the right,  was voted Teacher of the Year at Kate Duncan Smith DAR School.

Twickenham Town Chapter member Jacque Gray Reeves   portrays Mollie Walton, a Mooresville philanthropist and supporter of Reverend Sanders "the sleeping preacher," during the annual Huntsville Cemetery Stroll in Maple Hill Cemetery.
