The chapter participates in the
Kate Duncan Smith DAR School "Adopt a Classroom" project and assists in
teacher Lisa Pittson's 2nd grade class by providing
one-on-one tutoring and Christmas presents,
purchasing a moving book cart needed by the
students, and providing other needs as they arise.
Mrs.
Pittson, pictured to the right, was voted Teacher of the Year at Kate Duncan Smith DAR School.
