Historic Marker: Bethel Cemetery

An ongoing chapter project is to identify and photograph all of the tombstones in the Bethel Cemetery in Kingston, Roane County, Tennessee. The cemetery is rich in history with graves of pioneer families, veterans of all wars, and its river heritage is evident by the graves of several riverboat captains. Click on the links below for Bethel Cemetery details and photos.
The cemetery is located one block north of Bethel Presbyterian Church at 203 S. Kentucky Street, which is one block from Highway 70, in downtown Kingston, Roane County, Tennessee. Click on the marker image to view a larger version
