What Does DAR Do?

The objects of the organization are as follows:

1. Historic Preservation - Perpetuation of the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence by the preservation of historical relics and locations, and of records of their individual service.

2. Promotion of Education - Support of educational facilities.

3. Patriotic Endeavor - Promotion of patriotism and love of country; encouragement of research and publication of historical documents.
