In September  2007, New Caledonia Chapter was honored to welcome NSDAR President General Linda Calvin on her first official visit to an overseas chapter. Visit from the NSDAR President General
   
Exhibit at the Tri-stake October conference This is the exhibit we presented at the Tri-stake October 18, 2008 Tristake Genealogical Conference. The Patriot Index Book is a pretty popular item. 
   
We present a book as a literacy prize, to an outstanding student in American History, at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The History "Award of  Excellence" Convener is Vice Regent Beverley Straub Watkins. Last  year's recipient was Natasha Taschuk, a third year American History specialist at the University of Victoria, who was recommended by the history faculty for both her outstanding academic work, and for her involvement in the revival of The History Undergraduate Society (THUGS.)
