James Taylor. Born 1-30-1760, Culpepper County, VA. Died after 3-19-1841, Blount County, TN. Married Susannah Cook. Marker placed in 1950 by the Sam Houston Chapter of Maryville, which has since merged with Mary Blount Chapter. Centenary Cemetery is located 11 miles southwest of Maryville, TN, on Centenary Road, off Route 129. It was formerly a Methodist Church, and is now Baptist. |
